This is something I have been contemplating for awhile now, and you know how change is always difficult. BUT I am biting the bullet, taking the plunge <insert any cliche you wish here> You understand what I am saying!! So i have changed to Blogger! I am now at frankseast2gen.blogspot.com. Or click here!
I’ve been away for a few days so get ready for some updates! And lots of bloggin’ cuz there is lots of share!! Updates are now here.
Dearest Patricia,
You are adorable. I love your curly hair & toddler teeth. You cannot know how blessed we are that you are in our lives forever. You were Hand selected by our Heavenly Father, and in that we are so content. I look forward for you to meet your little cousins in the states, Christopher & McKinley. They are lots of fun, and I see much exploration & imagination with them in your future. I do wish that we could live closer, but for now pictures & prayers will have to suffice. You mean so much to so many people, especially your dear parents. I am thrilled to get to know you better & watch you grow!
Love always,
Aunt Cole
In honor of my youngest sister (in law) - although she is more like “sister” - who is GRADUATING! This weekend! When I first came into the Franks’ lives, this girl was only 4! Its been amazing to watch her grow-up into such a lovely, godly young lady. To my children she is Aunt Puff or Aunt Stephy, anyway you like to put it - Stephanie Vida Kendal Franks this post is for you, sweetie! Happy Graduation =D
The camera on my cheap little phone STINKS! So sorry for the poor quality, but I still couldn’t resist sharing this adorable photo of Miss McKinley! This was her first time she was interested in my shoes. So cute! And you can see how much her hair is growing, it almost looks like she has the A-sym style ;-)
FIRST FRUITS OF MY LABOR:
I made Hummus with a few ingredients from my garden. I adapted the recipe from here. And it turned out so yummy!
Recipe - * - ingredients used from the garden.
I can chick peas
6 Tbl olive oil
3 Tbl balsamic vinegar
1 shallot*
1 garlic clove, pressed
generous salt & some pepper to taste
a few spriggs of cilantro & basil*
parsley* for garnish
Blend in food processor or blender until smooth or the consistency you like.
Maple Almond Butter Cookies - SCRUMPTIOUS! I added some delicious chocolate covered sesame seeds to the 2nd batch & it made the cookies even better!
